Our Story

Where Craft Beer, Great Food & Good People Come together!
At The Brewtorium, we believe that great beer begins with good chemistry. Just like the perfect combination of hops, grain, water and yeast creates an exceptional beer, something magical happens when people connect over a couple of pints.
Chris and Whitney's journey began over pints on their first date, where they quickly realized their great chemistry was sparked by a shared love of craft beer. This passion has remained the cornerstone of their relationship and prompted them to build this dream together with the support of the Austin community.
A little nerdy and a lot of fun, the personality of The Brewtorium is a true reflection of its owners.
A Community Gathering Place
Dedicated to cultivating an environment rich with a sense of community, Chris and Whitney have strived to create a brewpub that serves as a warm, inviting gathering place for generations of patrons to experience fine craft beer and excellent food at a reasonable price.
The Brewtorium encourages personal connection through thoughtfully designed spaces:
Community tables that prompt conversation among strangers-turned-friends
Comfortable bar seating for enjoying our craft beers
Long, inviting bench seating perfect for large groups
A spacious beer garden with ample shade
A private event room for celebrating with the folks you love
These elements combine to create a space where families and friends can linger, relax, and enjoy memorable afternoons and evenings in each other's company. Unlike many establishments, The Brewtorium doesn't have televisions, instead focusing on creating genuine human connections and regularly hosts meet ups, special events, markets, fundraisers, drag brunches & trivia! There’s something for everyone!

What our guests are saying
Did y'all know that the Brewtorium has a private event space?! Yessss, There's a private event room, and I've booked twice for company events. It has a capacity for 10-50 guests. The Rental fee is $100/hour plus tax, gratuity & 4% Coordination Fee (Rates may differ), Customizable room setup & Optional AV equipment available with a big screen. There's also event catering available, minimum $25 pp.
When I got ready to book, I submitted the event interest form on their website and was contacted within 24 by the event coordinator, Carolyn H. Let me just say, Carolyn is so great!!!!! She has helped me coordinate each event every step of the way and she is super accommodating. The food has always been so delicious. For the event we had this week, I ordered the charcuterie board, chicken salad sliders, roasted veggie sliders, bratwurst sliders and a build your own mac and cheese bar. This food is absolutely delicious. The veggie sliders are my absolute favorite. Everything is delicious!!! If you need to host an event and you would love a central Austin location, I highly recommend checking out the Brewtorium. Go to the website submit an event interest form and go from there! I've attached some pictures from our event this week for reference.
Anywho, This is where I will continue to book our company events, as well as host happy hours in the main dining area!
Ohhh and y'all let Carolyn know that Christina sent you
Austin witches market Wow, is all I can say. Especially this young lady. You need to visit to feel the safety and warm
This place is nice! They have tons of beer, and it’s a huge space. The service is really good. The pretzel was just okay. The fried chicken sandwich was really good! They were showing NFL games on the projector.
Great food! Great brews! And VIBES! Bartender was hilarious. Also, free axe throwing is unheard of… thought about keeping it a secret but the people deserve to know - definitely Austin’s best kept secret. Also don’t skip the beer tasting - great price and tried some ipa tasting Pilsner and actually really liked it! (I typically hate ipa)
Large brewery with extensive list of drink and food options to enjoy at their many indoor air conditioned tables or outdoor shaded picnic tables. As of October 2025 their happy hour is Tuesday to Thursday 4p-6p, Friday 11a-6p, and Sunday 7p-9p. The brewery also has axe throwing, a private party room, and hosts fun events like Austin Flea. For a full afternoon of entertainment, they are located next to a coffee house, a climbing gym, and just down from Blue Genie. They share a free parking lot with adjacent businesses, and there is free street parking as well.
If you’re looking for a true Austin-style spot to relax, this brewery near Airport Boulevard hits the mark. The space is big and airy with high ceilings, plenty of tables, and lots of room to spread out, whether you’re with friends, family, or kids in tow. It’s super casual and welcoming-the kind of place where you can grab a cold beer, order a sandwich or pizza, and just settle in.
The vibe is lively without being overwhelming; the music is at a perfect level so you can still have a conversation without shouting. The food is solid (think great bar eats done right), and the drinks are exactly what you’d hope for in a local brewery. All in all, it’s an easygoing, fun spot to hang out-whether you’re starting your night, winding it down, or just looking for a good meal and a pint in a laid-back Austin setting.
AWESOME... The Reuben is unbelievably delicious. Whatever in the world they do on that pepperoni pizza they're not gonna find one like it in super thin crust delicious... fantastic beer really cool staff great place to hang out.. however if you are the owner or owner investors and you come from California… if you are happy in Texas and understand the market you will understand you have a problem now satisfying the local Texans who have accepted you and want to hang out outside day or night and enjoy what you have to offer, and people from California, and make fun of your clientele. You don't live there anymore you live here. love what you have I'd love to hang outside and love everything that makes Austin Austin, don't listen to the people who come in from outside from your former state and close down the outside area and feel shamed into rejecting what Texas has to offer. Just be part of Texas we will accept you
We came here while we were on a quick trip to Austin. The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food delicious. We had the smorgasbord and mac-n-cheese with pork belly. We had a great visit. The pretzel with queso was delicious. My review shows that the restaurant is a $50-100 restaurant. We spent that much because we had other things. I would say $10-20, or $15-30.
Good hangout spot with a spacious setup and plenty of seating. They’ve got a great selection of beers along with wine, mead, and even frozen drinks, so there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is lively without feeling cramped, and the staff is super friendly and quick. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side, but overall it’s a fun place to relax, try different options, and enjoy the vibe.
Attended Austin Pride drag brunch.
